The Mexican Institute of Social Security and SNTSS implement a collaboration strategy for the care of beneficiaries / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- At the General Zone Hospital with Family Medicine (HGZ/MF) No. 29 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Mexico City, the Strategic Committee for Institutional Management between the Institute and the National Union of Social Security Workers (SNTSS) got underway, with the aim of improving the quality of care, coverage and good treatment of beneficiaries.

The IMSS Director of Operations and Evaluation, Javier Guerrero García, pointed out that articulating, directing and assuming leadership in a hospital unit is fundamental.

Guerrero García commented that this collaborative exercise between the Institute and the Union will result in an agenda to advance in the responsibilities of the regulatory authorities, and the commitment of the Decentralized Administrative Operation Body of North Mexico City to strengthen the functioning and operation of the hospital and where the director will make the decisions that correspond to him.

He added that this is the first meeting of a process of work, planning and decision making, in which a common IMSS-Union agenda is being generated on specific issues of joint work of the IMSS Representation in North Mexico City, the sectional leaders and the institutional authority itself.

From this first visit, the authorities will visit other general and/or regional hospitals in other parts of the country to replicate this collaboration model.

In his speech, Dr. Rafael Olivos Hernández, Secretary of Labor of the SNTSS National Executive Committee, highlighted the importance of this exercise in conjunction with the sectional secretaries.
